ThinkScan 600 Registration and Upgrade Guide:
Prerequisite:
1. Go to http://www.mythinkcar.com to download the update tool and install it on your computer.
2. System requirements: Windows XP, 7, 8 or Windows 10.

Follow the steps below to update the tool:
1. Write down the serial number and registration code.
1) Plug one end of the USB cable into your tool and the other into your computer.
2) Once the tool has been powered and entered into the main menu screen, move the highlight bar on the ‘Help’ icon and press [OK].
3) Highlight the “tooltip” in Figure 1 and press [OK].
4) Write down the serial number and registration code for later use.

2. Register the scanner in the update tool (for initial use).
1) Launch the update tool a screen similar to figure 3 look like
* NOTE: Once the S/N is entered, ‘system restore’ is activated, which is used to restore the system if a new memory card is replaced.
2) Select the target language and enter the product serial number, click [Device Update], a screen similar to Fig. 4 will appear.
3). Enter the required email address and registration code. Click [Submit] to complete the subscription.
* NOTE: For initial use, the user needs to go through a registration process. Once finished, the registration screen will not appear again every time you click the [Device Update] button in the future.

3. Copy the update package to the memory card.
1) Install the tool’s memory card into the supplied memory card adapter and insert into the USB port of the computer.
2). Reopen the update tool, select the updates you want to perform. Click ‘Select All’, and then click [Download] to start downloading the update package to the memory card.

4. Reinsert the memory card into the tool and start flashing it.
1). Once all steps have been completed, find the mem
2) Connect the tool to computer via USB cable.
3). The tool starts checking the consistency of local files with the files on the memory card. If there is a difference, the tool will start updating automatically and a green update progress bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. Please be patient until the update is completely finished.
